Clearfield Entrance Patch Cord with Reel SC adapter

Fiber-to-the-Premise deployments in MDU architectures often require extensive engineering to ensure that cable lengths are appropriate. However, the FieldShield FLEXdrop Deploy Reel with a diameter of 4.5 inches (114.30 mm) solves this problem by allowing FLEXdrop to be directly pulled from the reel to the access point, minimizing the need for pre-engineering. The pushable connector is completed with supplied connector housings upon reaching its destination, and then mated to the adapter. The remaining slack on the reel is pre-stored, eliminating the need for further slack management. The terminated end on the reel is pre-tested, cleaned, and mated in a controlled Clearfield factory environment, leaving the technician to mate the patch cord to the adapter on the reel. The small form factor of the cable assembly and Deploy Reel enables the FLEXdrop to be pulled and slack stored from the customer demarcation point, making it an ideal ISP Cable for MDU and riser deployments that can significantly reduce pre-engineering and onsite installation time.
