MikroTik hEX PoE Five Port Gigabit Ethernet Router

The MikroTik hEX PoE is a five-port gigabit Ethernet router designed for locations without wireless connectivity needs. It includes a USB 2.0 port and an SFP port for optical fiber connectivity. Ports 2-5 can power other PoE-capable devices using the same voltage as the unit, reducing the need for extra adapters and cables. Despite its compact and affordable design, the hEX PoE boasts an 800MHz CPU, capable of handling advanced configurations supported by RouterOS. Each shielded Ethernet port can deliver up to 1A of current, depending on the input voltage (12-30V or 31-57V). Furthermore, the hEX PoE supports passive PoE input and passive or 802.3af/at PoE output. With a 48V DC input, it can power 802.3af/at devices, though a separate 48V power supply is required for this feature. The unit delivers a maximum current of 450mA per port, without supporting PoE powered device classification.
